These smaller NZ lamb topside joints let you roast in stages as lunch service builds, carving each one when it’s needed. They suit a café roast special where a large joint would be more lamb than you want ready at once.
Before you settle on an order quantity, cook a trial roast and weigh the carved meat. Set your plated portion from that, then work out how many joints you’ll need for the expected covers.
A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING
Practical details to help you plan your menu and talk through your order.
No. “Mini” describes a smaller joint, not a set portion count. For illustration, 600 g of cooked, carved meat gives four 150 g portions. Neither weight is a product specification; use the actual joint and your plated portion.
Give us the number of joints and a preferred weight range, as well as the total kilograms. If each oven run serves a different number of covers, list those separately so we can discuss suitable sizes and packing.
Request kilograms in 0.5 kg steps; this is not a pack size or minimum order. We’ll confirm packing, final weights and delivery charges with you. See how to order.
This local preview saves test orders only and takes no payment. Delivery is confirmed separately.
Follow the storage instructions and use-by date on the pack, and keep raw meat separate from ready-to-eat food. Plan opened packs and any thawing through your kitchen’s food control plan. Keep the product label or specification with your records so ingredient and allergen information stays with the batch.
