NZ Chicken Thigh Boneless & Skinless

Product photo from Preston’s Master Butchers. Cut and presentation may vary.

Boneless, skinless NZ chicken thigh is a useful cut when the flavour comes from a marinade, a spice paste or the grill. Keep it whole for a grilled chicken main, or cut it to suit skewers for a catered lunch.

For skewers, the size of the pieces matters as much as their weight. Aim for an even dice so one end isn’t ready while the other still needs cooking. If you’d like that cutting done before delivery, we can work through the size and pack quantities for your recipe.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Questions from your kitchen

Practical details to help you plan your menu and talk through your order.

Do I need whole thighs or a fixed piece count?

Specify which one matters to the dish. A whole-thigh main is planned by pieces as well as weight; diced thigh for a curry is usually planned by raw kilograms per batch. The online quantity is kilograms, so add the piece requirement when you discuss the order.

Can I use our marinade with thigh supplied already cut?

Yes, if that preparation is agreed. Give us the cutting specification and tell the kitchen whether the meat will arrive plain or seasoned. Keep the marinade’s ingredients and allergens in the finished recipe record; don’t assume they are covered by the meat specification.

Ordering & handling

Ordering & delivery

Request kilograms in 0.5 kg steps; this is not a pack size or minimum order. We’ll confirm packing, final weights and delivery charges with you. See how to order.

This local preview saves test orders only and takes no payment. Delivery is confirmed separately.

Storage & ingredients

Follow the storage instructions and use-by date on the pack, and keep raw meat separate from ready-to-eat food. Plan opened packs and any thawing through your kitchen’s food control plan. Keep the product label or specification with your records so ingredient and allergen information stays with the batch.
